Join to apply for the Carrier Sales Representative - Specialized role at SOAR Transportation Group Responsibilities include: Negotiate rates with carriers for maximum profit. Collect all required information from drivers before dispatching and provide accurate & detailed information regarding directions, load information, pick-up/delivery times/numbers as well as all other special load related information. Manage carrier issues and resolve carrier operational problems including unplanned accessorial charges and accounting discrepancies. Develop and maintain quality working relationships with transportation providers, customers, and warehouses by using various means of communications. Dispatch drivers to designated shippers, consignees, and intermediate stops if applicable. Key Knowledge & Experience High School diploma with some college preferred. Or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1-2 years of 3PL freight brokerage or transportation experience. Proficient in computer software programs necessary to perform job function. Driven and competitive nature with impressive negotiation skills.
