Door to Door Residential Sales Representative Location: Manchester, NY Pay: $70,000 - $125,000 annually (Base Salary: $35,000 plus uncapped commission; $5,000 Signing‑Performance Bonus for reaching targets in first 120 days) Base pay range: $70,000.00/yr – $125,000.00/yr GoNetspeed seeks an Outside Sales Representative to deliver fiber internet, home phone, and DTV streaming services to residential customers through door‑to‑door canvassing. Core Responsibilities Engage and acquire new customers and close sales opportunities via door‑to‑door sales. Identify and target potential customers within designated towns/cities; build rapport with customers to understand needs and preferences. Maintain detailed knowledge of product features, benefits, pricing, and competitive comparisons. Evaluate individual customers' existing and potential product needs and make recommendations. Maintain sales production to meet or exceed individual quotas. Represent the company at community events in targeted markets. Requirements Experience in direct sales, preferably door‑to‑door, is a plus but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain customer relationships. Must be able to work outside in any weather; available 10 AM–7 PM, 40 hours per week. Results‑driven, self‑motivated, independent, with excellent attendance. Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle; local travel required (mileage allowance provided). Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Familiarity with telecommunications or broadband industry is a plus. Strong oral and written communication skills. Enthusiastic learner of products and services. Professional and ethical representation of self and company. Strong in‑person communication skills for face‑to‑face cold selling. Ability to organize, prioritize, manage multiple assignments, and make sound decisions. Physical Requirements Read computer screens and reports (75‑100%). Hear well to communicate with employees and contacts (75‑100%). Write, type, and use phone system (75‑100%). Frequent standing, walking, stair climbing required (75‑100%).
