Incumbents provide assistance in the use of library materials and programs to the public and provide directed support work to professional librarians; may be responsible for a community library; and perform related work as required. Please note : The current vacancies are part-time and may be limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week. However, the eligible list established from this recruitment may be used to fill both full and part-time positions as vacancies occur. Working hours will vary between 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Applicants must be willing to work various shifts including evening and weekends (including Sundays), and be willing to work and travel between sites as needed. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience : One (1) year of full-time, paid public contact work experience involving some clerical work. or Education : Completion of thirty (30) semester units of coursework that is acceptable within the United States’ accredited college or university system. Licenses : Possession of a valid Class "C" driver's license, or equivalent, may be required. Possession of a valid Class "B" driver's license, or equivalent, may be required.
