What you will do:
This position is responsible for rendering professional medical services to the patient population of Delaware Valley Community Health. The position is also accountable for supervising the medical staff of the Health center and acting in a lead administrative capacity with regard to health center operations, chart review, and required reporting requirements. This candidate will have experience working in Addiction Medicine and will grow our addiction medicine program across other health centers.

  • Graduation from an accredited medical school is required. 
  • Possession of a current license to practice medicine in the state of Pennsylvania is required. 
  • Board certification in specialty is preferred. 
  • A minimum of one year experience as practicing physician and administrative experience in primary health care setting is preferable. 
  • Meets and maintains credentialing and privileging criteria as outlined in the credentialing and privileging policy. 
  • Must present a positive and enthusiastic demeanor while directly working with patients
  • Interest/experience in precepting medical students
  • Experience with Addiction Medicine
