Job Description Overhead Crane Operator Automation Personnel Services is looking for an
Overhead Crane Operator for a company based in Houston TX (Lower Kirby area). In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a double hoist overhead crane to load and unload steel products. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety.
Pay Rate $21.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday
1st Shift: 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
2nd Shift: 4:00 pm to 12:30 am
Overhead Crane Operator Duties and Responsibilities • Operate double hoist overhead cranes in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform daily inspections of crane equipment and report necessary repairs
• Use measuring tools such as tape measures and micrometers
• Receive, inspect, and verify steel materials for grade, thickness, and size
• Color-code materials in accordance with company procedures
• Follow all safety and operational procedures
Overhead Crane Operator Qualifications and Requirements • High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum
2 years of experience operating overhead cranes
• Familiarity with steel products is a plus, but not required
