Senior Account Director, Affiliate and Influencer Marketing

Key Responsibilities
- Act as senior relationship manager for a portfolio of enterprise clients, building trust and credibility across stakeholder groups from daytoday contacts to CSuite.
- Deeply understand client businesses, aligning affiliate and influencer strategies with broader brand goals and marketing channels (Paid Search, SEO, PR, content, etc.).
- Anticipate risks, address challenges proactively, and act as escalation point for complex issues.
- Deliver highquality outputs including QBRs, strategy decks, forecasts, and executivelevel presentations.
- Translate client objectives and data into forwardthinking partnership strategies that drive measurable outcomes.
- Leverage insights, market trends, and new publisher models to proactively identify growth opportunities.
- Own revenue performance across client portfolio, consistently achieving and exceeding retention and growth targets.
- Identify and close expansion opportunities, articulating clear business value for clients.
- Play an active role in new business development pitching, storytelling, and positioning AP as the strategic partner of choice.
- Provide direction and guidance to account teams; coach and mentor team members, ensuring high standards in client delivery, strategy, and communication.
- Influence across mixedaccountability teams, driving collaboration and alignment without always relying on direct line management.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and solutionoriented problem solving.

- Strong strategic planner who can simplify complexity and bring strategy to life.
- Datadriven, commercially astute, and comfortable with negotiation and revenue ownership.
- Skilled storyteller with the ability to frame insights into compelling narratives for executives.
- Deep understanding of affiliate and influencer marketing, and how these integrate with the broader marketing mix.
- Proactive thought leader with curiosity for industry trends and enthusiasm for testing new approaches.
- Resilient, adaptable, and thrives in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong collaborator who motivates remote teams and leads by example.
Experience & Skills Required
- 8+ years in digital marketing, ecommerce, or affiliate/partnership marketing (agency or inhouse).
- Proven track record managing large, complex, enterpriselevel clients.
- Expertise in affiliate tracking platforms (Impact, Awin, etc.).
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing and growing revenue targets.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and presentation/storytelling skills.
- Experience leading or influencing large account teams and coaching senior team members.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data/insights to drive strategic decisions.

- Target Salary is $130,000 $150,000 + bonus, depending on location and experience.
