We are looking for a Tax M&A Director to join our Private Equity team. This leadership role involves providing strategic tax advisory services on mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and complex transactions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in tax structuring, due diligence, and compliance, along with strong relationship management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Tax Structuring: Develop tax-efficient strategies for M&A transactions.
• Due Diligence: Lead tax due diligence efforts, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Transaction Advisory: Collaborate across teams to execute deals while managing tax risks.
• Portfolio Management: Provide ongoing tax advice to portfolio companies.
• Tax Technical Expertise: Stay current on relevant tax laws and trends.
• Client Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with private equity clients.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor tax professionals.
• Process Improvement: Enhance efficiency in tax functions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification.
• 10+ years of tax experience, especially in M&A and private equity.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. tax laws and partnership taxation.
• Proven leadership in tax due diligence and structuring.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (JD, LLM, MBA, MST).
