• Healthcare Setting: Progressive Care Unit (PCU), main campus\n
• Start Date: November 24, 2025\n
• End Date: February 23, 2026\n
• Contract Duration: 13-week travel nursing contract\n
• Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)\n
• Hours per Week: 36\n
• Weekend Requirement: 6 Saturday or Sunday shifts per 6-week period\n
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in PCU, step-down, or similar healthcare setting\n
• Active Registered Nurse license (RN license)\n
• ACLS and BLS certifications required\n
• Clinical experience with tracheostomy patients\n
• Strong clinical competence and flexibility\n
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred\n

\n\nProgressive Care Unit Nurse Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide patient care in a 23-bed step-down and 16-bed med-surg unit\n
• Manage patient ratios: 1:3-4 (step-down), 1:4-6 (med-surg)\n
• Perform trach care, chest tube management, and wound dressing changes\n
• Utilize lifts, cardiac drips, and care for stable vented patients\n
• Float to other med-surg and progressive care units as needed\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
